Chemical Mixer/Material Handler

A manufacturing company is seeking a Chemical Mixer/Material Handler who will

play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that materials are blended accurately and efficiently to meet our quality standards. You will work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities:

• Operate blending equipment and machinery to mix raw materials according to specified formulas, confirming materials are accurately weighed and measured
• Ensure proper packaging of blended products for storage or shipment
• Conduct regular inspections of blending equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
• **Maintain accurate records of blending processes, including batch numbers and material usage
• **Collaborate with the quality control team to ensure that all products meet established quality standards
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery in the warehouse environment
• Assist in materials handling tasks, including the movement and storage of raw materials and finished products
• Maintain and support cleanliness of all blending equipment and machinery, including forklifts, etc.
• Assist with maintaining shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely processing of orders and deliveries
• Assist with daily warehouse activities, as needed

Job Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred
• Familiarity with machining processes and laboratory practices is a plus
• **Must have experience operating tow motors or other material handling equipment
• **Must have the ability to pay a strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality products
• Must have excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues across various departments

Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered. This position will be cross trained with our warehouse department.
