Recreation Leader @ Davey Elementary Summer Camp (1st-3rd grades)

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must pass background check, drug test and pre-employment physical. Experience with children preferred.

Availability: MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY! Consistent shift of 8:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. from June 8th through August 7th (closed week of June 29th). Training can begin any time this Spring. School year employment also available in our ‘26-‘27 Before and After School program, but is not required.

Job Responsibilities: Supervise children entering 1st through 3rd grade in a licensed child care camp at Davey Elementary School. Complete lesson plans, independently manage a group of up to 18 campers, supervise children on field trips, adapt to the behavioral and educational needs of children, handle conflict management within children, attend bi-weekly staff meetings and CPR/First Aid trainings, etc.

Essential Functions: Actively participate in acts such as arts & crafts, swimming, nature hikes, sports, camp songs, STEAM and outdoor field trips traveling from one location to another. Must be able to complete all physical requirements of job.

Rate of Pay: $12.50-$15.00/hr (based on education and experience)
