Now Hiring: Team Lead Electronic Assembler
Schedule: MondayThursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
Optional Overtime: Fridays, 6:00 AM 12:00 PM
Pay will be BOE: $21-$26.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Electronic Assembler to support and guide a production team while remaining hands-on with electronic assembly work. This role is ideal for someone with strong electronics assembly experience who can lead by example, support daily workflow, and ensure quality and efficiency on the floor.
This position requires technical expertise in electronic assembly, along with the ability to communicate clearly, assist with training, and help keep the team on task.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of electronic assemblers to meet daily production goals
Assemble, solder, and wire circuit boards, wire harnesses, and small panel units
Read and follow layouts, schematics, and documentation for accurate assembly
Clean, coat, prep, and encapsulate (potting) circuit boards as required
Operate machines used to cut, strip, tin wire, and crimp terminals
Perform inspections and repairs on post-wave boards
Assist with troubleshooting, quality concerns, and workflow issues
Train and support team members while maintaining productivity standards
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures
Complete required documentation and communicate issues to supervision
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous electronic/electrical assembly experience preferred
Prior team lead or leadership experience preferred
Ability to read schematics and identify electronic components
Soldering and de-soldering experience preferred
Strong hand-eye coordination and comfort working with small parts
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and lead others
Effective communication skills
Color recognition and ability to read part numbers required
Physical Requirements:
Regular sitting, standing, bending, and reaching throughout the shift
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
Good vision required, including close-focus and color recognition
