Greenskeeper

Valley of the Eagles and Event Center has a Jack Nicklaus Design golf course in Elyria, Ohio. Our goal is to be the premier daily-fee golf course on the west side of Greater Cleveland. Our Greenskeepers are the backbone of our Agronomy Team and will learn all aspects of course maintenance.

We need new crew members to fill multiple roles to begin the 2026 Golf Season. Earn free golf while you learn a new trade!

This is a seasonal position but we can offer full time hours, and even overtime if it is wanted, during the golf season. Work yourself into a full-time, year-round position by displaying your abilities through this golf season.

Job Type: Full-time, but seasonal, March 2 through Thanksgiving.

Salary: $14.25 per hour to start, up to $15 per hour once you display you can be trained and trusted.

Expected hours: 35-45 per week

Schedule:
This is an on-site position. The course is open every day from March to November. Our day starts at dawn every day. Weekdays we are out by 2:30 pm. Weekend shifts are required, but only one day per weekend. We call them "MOW and GO!" That is, 3 or 4 hours tops, and then home to your family. We can be flexible about attendance, especially in the afternoons. However, this position requires early morning attendance 5 to 6 days per week.
