Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Machinist skilled in operating CNC mills and lathes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in setting up, programming, and operating various CNC machines to produce precision parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, horizontal and vertical machining centers, VTLs, and VMCs.
• Handle small to large part machining, including CNC milling and vertical turning lathe operations.
• Ensure part size and capacity up to 60" cube and 93" outside diameter.
• Perform machining on materials such as cast grey ductile iron, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, bronze, brass, copper, super alloys, and tool steels.
• Set up and operate your own machines, ensuring quality and precision.
• Program using Mastercam and operate Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Utilize micrometers, calipers, and gauges for quality checks on parts.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency in CNC mills and CNC lathes.
• Ability to set up, operate, and machine own parts.
• Mastercam programming experience.
• Blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Possession of personal tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a custom machine shop with a flexible schedule. The position is primarily on the first shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with the option to extend to 4:30 pm. Flexibility in start times is offered to accommodate personal needs, such as child care. The potential for third shift opportunities is also available.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Perrysburg, Ohio .

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $75000.00/yr.

The company has great benefits: $15 for single plan, $32 for family of two and $45 for a family. They also give a Christmas bonus each year.

Workplace Type

This is a fully onsite position in Perrysburg,OH.
