Location: Vandalia, OH | Payrate: $20.32/hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the aerospace and defense industry to hire a dependable Janitor . What You'll Do

• Perform heavy cleaning duties throughout office, manufacturing, and facility spaces.

• Clean floors, vacuum, shampoo carpets, wash walls and windows, and remove trash and debris.

• Safely use chemical cleaners and powered cleaning equipment according to established procedures.

• Maintain and perform basic repairs on motorized cleaning equipment.

• Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment inventory and notify management when replenishment or repairs are needed.

• Report building maintenance issues or major repair needs.

• Complete scheduled cleaning tasks independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, plus 1–3 years of relevant experience , or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to work independently and complete routine tasks efficiently.

• Ability to safely climb stairs and ladders and work from a stationary ladder.

• Knowledge of the safe use of cleaning products, equipment, and basic tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience.

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.

• Experience maintaining commercial or industrial facilities.

Pay Details: $20.32 per hour
