Schedule

Rotating shifts: 3x12-hour schedule including nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. Shifts may be variable based on operational needs.

Job Description

This position is for a Med/Surg Tele RN at a healthcare facility requiring travelers. The nurse will care for patients in a medical-surgical telemmetry setting, coordinating patient care, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Med/Surg telemetry unit.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and monitor patient reactions.
• Educate patients and families on health management and wellness.
• Document patient care and maintain records accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Med/Surg Tele RN experience required.
• 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience; travel experience accepted.
• Current Ohio RN license or Compact state license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• One supervisory reference from a previous employer is required for submission.
