Wetland Consultant
Geotechnical Consultants Inc. (GCI) is a 46 year-old civil engineering company specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, field and construction services, special inspections, and steel testing throughout the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
GCI is seeking a full-time wetland consultant with 2+ years’ experience in wetland delineation, stream evaluations, federal Clean Water Act Section 404 permits, and state Section 401 water quality certifications. Ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, willingness to work outdoors, and ability to interact with regulators and clientele. Experience in Phase I/Phase II ESAs and other environmental services catering to the real estate development industry is a plus.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's in environmental science, natural resources, wetland science, or a related field
· 2+ years experience in related field is preferred
· Detail orientated and self-motivated
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Experience in customer relations and communications
· Ability to pass drug test and general background check.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Desire to work outside in all weather conditions.
· Ability to routinely lift varying weights from 10-50 pounds.
