Route Delivery Driver (Box Truck) – Laundry Service | Cleveland, OH

Position Type: Part Time (30 hours)
Location: Cleveland Area

Pay: $18 to $19

About the Role

We’re looking for a dependable, personable, and motivated Route Delivery Driver to join our laundry service team. In this role, you’ll operate a cargo van or box truck to complete laundry pick-ups and drop-offs for both residential and business customers throughout the Cleveland area. You’ll be the face of the company on every stop, so excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.

When not on the road, you’ll assist with tasks inside the laundry facility to support smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive a company cargo van or box truck to complete scheduled laundry pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Deliver consistently excellent customer service at every stop.
• Engage with residents and businesses to promote and grow laundry service usage.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-functioning company vehicle.
• Assist with facility tasks when not driving (sorting, organizing, light computer use, etc.).
• Complete all deliveries safely, accurately, and on time.
• Ensure all customer orders are correct and complete.
• Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
• Participate in sales-related conversations to help expand the customer base.

Requirements

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience driving a box truck for deliveries.
• Experience must include customer service and/or sales and working directly with the public.
• Ability to consistently lift and carry 40–50 lb bags of laundry , including up and down stairs and across parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Personable, outgoing, and comfortable engaging with customers.
• Dependable, reliable, and able to promote a positive company image.
• Flexible and able to adapt to changing needs throughout the day.
• Comfortable with basic computer usage.
