Join our privately owned, family-run veterinary practice serving Loveland, Mason, Montgomery, and surrounding communities. As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in our single-doctor clinic, you will be a critical part of delivering high-quality medical care built on trust and long-term client relationships. You will assist in various clinical procedures while providing compassionate care and maintaining excellent communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist and restrain animals safely using low-stress techniques
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and give injections
• Conduct diagnostic tests and prepare samples for reference laboratories
• Administer and monitor anesthesia effectively
• Position animals and acquire digital x-rays
• Maintain accurate medical records using practice management software
• Communicate daily with clients to provide updates and education
• Ensure exceptional patient care throughout all procedures

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital
• Proficiency in animal handling and restraint
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and clinical procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to compassionate patient care and client service

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years in veterinary technology
• Experience with digital radiography and lab analyzers
• Familiarity with medical record software
• Expertise in low-stress restraint techniques
