Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – York Public Schools
York Public Schools is accepting applications for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming school year. We are seeking a caring, student-centered professional dedicated to supporting students’ communication needs and helping them thrive academically and socially.
Position Details:
Full-time, certified position (serving a range of grade levels depending on assignment)
Start Date: August 2026

Responsibilities Include:
Providing speech and language services to students with identified needs
Completing evaluations, developing IEPs, and monitoring progress
Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
Maintaining accurate records and compliance with state/federal requirements
Serving as a key team member in MTSS and special education supports
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Nebraska license or ability to obtain
Nebraska Teaching Certificate or Special Services Credential (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
School-based experience preferred but not required
