A manufacturing and distribution company is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, managing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Responsibilities:

Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate information about products, services, and order status
Process orders efficiently and accurately, monitor order progress, and ensure timely delivery
Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, escalating complex cases when necessary
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring repeat business and customer satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, orders, and resolutions in the CRM system
Work closely with internal teams such as sales, production, and logistics to ensure customer needs are met
Stay informed about industry trends, pricing updates, and competitor activity to better assist customers

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree is preferred
Must have proven experience in customer service, preferably in manufacturing, distribution, or a related industry
Experience in plastics manufacturing, distribution, or compounding, as well as, knowledge of industry-specific logistics and supply chain processes is preferred
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and internal teams
Must be proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook
The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment is needed
Must have strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and customer-oriented approach, and the ability to pay a high attention to detail
Bilingual skills are a plus
