The Production Planner coordinates production schedules, inventory, and cross-functional communication to ensure timely delivery of products and services. This role supports operational efficiency and helps align engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams with customer expectations.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage project and production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Maintain inventory accuracy; open and manage stock orders in NetSuite (or similar ERP).
- Provide operational support through data analysis, reporting, and scheduling tools.
- Lead weekly production meetings and communicate updates across departments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales to resolve issues and maintain project visibility.
- Assist in KPI development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support other departments and perform additional duties as needed.
- Associate degree in Business or related field
- 5–7 years of production planning or operations experience
- Strong ERP experience (NetSuite preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Project
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
