Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: Facilities across OH

Pay Rate: $65 – $67/hour (based on experience)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Multiple Shifts available

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to operate CT scanners and obtain high-quality diagnostic images. The ideal candidate will be capable of working independently with minimal supervision while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and confirm identification, reviewing pertinent medical history, medications, and allergies
• Explain the CT procedure to patients and address any questions to ensure understanding
• Position patients appropriately and perform scans according to established protocols
• Administer contrast media as required, following all protocols and ensuring patient safety
• Ensure proper medication reconciliation before contrast administration
• Assist in other modalities as needed, including patient preparation and IV insertion
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, including medication administration and any physician orders
• Utilize radiation-reduction techniques while ensuring high-quality imaging
• Monitor patient safety, minimizing the risk of falls or injury during imaging procedures
• Maintain and use dosimeters correctly and consistently to monitor radiation exposure

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in CT imaging

Education & Certification:

• Graduate from an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT certification
• Ohio Radiographer License
• BLS (American Heart Association) – Required
