Join Our Team as an R&D Lab Technician!

Are you passionate about science and precision? We’re looking for a dedicated R&D Lab Technician to support our innovative team in developing and testing cutting-edge formulas. • Prepare and process formulas, including wet samples, applying them to lab metals, baking, and testing properties.
• Perform key tests: viscosity, density, weight per gallon, color development, adhesion, cure, solids, flexibility, and solvent resistance.
• Follow batch tickets (recipes) with exceptional accuracy for weights and measurements.
• Document all work in physical or electronic lab notebooks.
• Identify and resolve anomalies or escalate concerns promptly.
• Maintain raw material inventory and ensure proper labeling.
• Keep the lab organized and equipment calibrated, following 5S principles.
• Promote safety by adhering to all policies and best practices.

• Experience in a laboratory setting, especially wet chemistry.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and project plans.
• Skilled in documentation and data integrity.

• AS or BS in Science (preferred)
• Non-degreed candidates considered with 1+ year of wet chemistry lab experience .

• Industrial lab located within the plant.
• Exposure to strong paint odors—candidates should be comfortable in this setting.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
