Human Resource Generalist (FT)
- Responsible for recruiting, selecting, and onboarding of agency staff. Develop recruitment strategies as a way to achieve required staffing levels. Support hiring managers' recruitment efforts and staffing plans. You will be working with hiring managers, managing the recruitment process, and helping maintain our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring candidates receive prompt and courteous updates.
- Assist with the coordination and management of training to include staff development programs. Partnering with leadership to assess talent at all levels, focusing on future planning, opportunities for training, and development programs for employees. Will be a major player in ADP's Learning Management System (LMS), partnering with leadership to identify training needs.
- Assist with performance management process, utilizing the ADP Performance Management system, ensuring timely completion of reviews and evaluating feedback provided to employees for alignment with objectives and values.
- In partnership with the Leadership for Social Justice Department, assist in the development, execution and advancement of the agencies Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies to create a culture of inclusion, innovation, and employee engagement. Promote agency-wide development of an equitable, accessible, and inclusive workplace. Train and/or coach staff on methods of de-escalation, mediation, mentoring, and restorative practices.
- Facilitate Internal Equity Council and ongoing employee engagement to promote an inclusive culture within YWCA Columbus, to include designing and implementing a continuous dialogue strategy to identify employee ideas and improvements.
- Measure/assess culture, employee engagement, wellness and DEI initiatives and develop plans for action and report on the action taken using employee surveys, exit surveys, etc.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent years of relatable experience.
- Experience with full cycle recruiting.
- Experience with Benefits Management desired.
- Understanding of Federal and State labor laws, Conflict Resolution, Training & Development Facilitation, and Performance Management.
- 2 year's diversity, equity, and inclusion experience desired.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, whether written, verbal, or graphical.
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.
- Previous experience with ADP WorkforceNow desired.
- High energy level, comfortable in performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
- Ability to identify, analyze, develop solutions and make decisions on complex or unique issues.
- Demonstrated PC-based software using Microsoft Office suite.
