As a Credit Risk Team Lead in Credit Risk Management, you drive the end-to-end credit delivery experience for our business. You lead a team of Credit Officers and Analysts, ensuring service excellence and adherence to credit quality standards. You collaborate with partners across the firm to meet organizational goals and support continuous improvement. You help us deliver outstanding client experiences and contribute to our strategic direction.
Job responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the credit delivery process from start to finish through partnerships with Credit Operations
- Lead and develop a team of Credit Officers and Analysts, ensuring high service levels and credit quality
- Oversee team capacity and ensure target metric goals are met
- Conduct quality reviews of underwriting analyses
- Lead meetings with Lending Advisory, Underwriting, and Operations to drive prioritization
- Monitor weekly reports to ensure portfolios meet targets
- Provide training and communicate objectives in team meetings
- Participate in portfolio management and credit administration with Lending Advisory and Credit Executive
- Ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory policies, focusing on cost-efficient credit delivery
- Offer decisive and prudent credit guidance, structuring appropriate solutions for the bank and clients
- Serve as a resource and mentor within the credit organization and participate in local leadership
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7 years consumer and commercial bank lending experience
- Strong analytic, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Ability to work in a high-production environment and meet targets
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, or STEM preferred)
- Completion of a major bank credit-training program
- Knowledge of Capital Markets and Operating Companies
- Experience with JPMC software applications and broad bank product knowledge
- Ability to interact with senior management and sales personnel
- Ability to manage multiple projects with urgency
- Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or other languages used by global clients
