TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Endoscopy RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (08:00 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience, Endoscopy experience required, PACU experience preferred License: Valid RN license in hand at the time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: 1:1 patient ratio experience required Description: Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required. Endoscopy experience is mandatory. PACU experience is preferred. Candidates must have experience with a 1:1 patient ratio. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. The daily census includes 60-70 cases per day. Patient age groups range from adolescents to adults and pediatrics. The unit sees a variety of patient diagnoses including active GI bleeding, Barrett’s esophagus, biliary tract disease, and more. Special procedures include EGD, Colonoscopy, endoscopic bariatric procedures, and polypectomy among others. Experience with Olympus Endoscopes and endoscopic ultrasound equipment is preferred. Candidates should have skills in circulating, monitoring conscious sedation, and managing IVs. Two professional references are required, including at least one from a manager or supervisor. Candidates must undergo a fingerprinting process as part of credentialing. Environmental factors in the unit may include the need for interdisciplinary support.
