Machine Operator
WE CURRENTLY HAVE AN EXCITING CAREER OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE FOR A MACHINE OPERATOR.
A machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. Performs departmental operator duties in a coordinated team environment to ensure high quality, efficient manufacturing of product, in conformance to the work instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Must have complete understanding and support of safe work practices
- In an organized, accurate and efficient manner, process customer parts per all relevant Standard Quality Practices (SQP), work instructions, and quality analysis
- Communicate relevant information to either the Group Leader, Operations Manager and/or other manufacturing personnel to support a cohesive operating environment
- Be proficient and knowledgeable in the work cell/area
- Verify parts with precision and measuring tools
- Check parts to ensure machine-related mistakes or flaws do not exist
- Maintain records pertaining to approved and defective units of final products
- Record pieces produced and complete all required paperwork
- Transfer material and/or work in process (WIP) within the work cells
- Perform cleaning and basic maintenance of work areas and the machines
- Performs all other duties as assigned in support of company objectives, as directed by the Supervisor or Lead in charge
- Ensure compliance with, and continuous improvement in all applicable environmental objectives, goals, accountabilities, policies and responsibilities as outlined in the Environmental Management System (EMS) program
Experience:
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred, but not required
Skills:
- Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations
- Accurate, concise verbal & written communication
- Basic reading
- Basic mechanical ability
- Basic computer operation
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to pay attention to detail
- Understanding of production procedures
- Teamwork and collaboration

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
