Doe Rae Me Early Learning Center is a music-themed child care program dedicated to providing a nurturing, creative, and developmentally appropriate environment for children. We focus on strong family partnerships, professional teamwork, and a positive learning atmosphere rooted in structure, consistency, and care.

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and energetic Second Shift Teacher to support our evening classroom operations. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a calmer, structured end-of-day environment and is passionate about helping children learn and feel safe.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising and engaging children in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment.
• Supporting evening learning activities, music-based experiences, and enrichment play.
• Assisting with routines such as snack/dinner time and preparing children for late pick-ups.
• Maintaining classroom cleanliness, organization, and compliance with Ohio licensing standards.
• Communicating professionally with families through Brightwheel.
• Following all Doe Rae Me ELC policies and ODJFS regulations.
• Completing documentation such as attendance, forms, and incident reports when needed.
• Working collaboratively with teammates and modeling professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in child care or ECE preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass all background checks and meet ODJFS requirements.
• Reliable, patient, and eager to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Second Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
