Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support obsolescence management initiatives to ensure hardware remains current, reliable, and aligned with customer needs.
  • Provide technical support for fielded systems and new product introduction (NPI) applications, including certification and entry into service activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-disciplinary teams, including electrical, fluid, and controls engineers, to drive project success.
  • Oversee hardware development throughout the design lifecycle, from initial concept through ground and flight testing, with a focus on technology and manufacturing readiness.
  • Define and guide supplier design efforts , ensuring transparency and alignment with project requirements.
  • Participate actively in design reviews , both internally and with suppliers, to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Support engineering team members to maintain adherence to project plans and timelines.
  • Work within cross-functional teams , including design engineering, quality engineering, supply chain, and program leadership, to ensure components and systems meet application requirements.
  • Communicate technical and manufacturing readiness plans and provide status updates to internal and external stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Engineering experience)
