Kindred Spirits, the on-site restaurant at The Inn & Spa at Cedar Falls, is looking for a friendly, dependable team member to fill a hybrid Hostess/Disher role. This is a great opportunity for someone in school or looking for a second job. We offer very flexible scheduling with shifts available in the morning (8:00 am–3:30 pm) or evening (4:00 pm–9:30 pm), and the option to mix both.

$12 - $13 hourly

• Greet and seat guests, confirm reservations, and manage check-ins using our reservation system
• Provide menus and assist with table resets, bussing, and supporting servers as needed
• Load, run, and unload the commercial dishwasher; polish and restock dishes, glassware, and utensils
• Keep the dish area clean and organized; sweep, mop, take out trash, and break down cardboard
• Transport glassware to the bar and restock plates, cookware, and service items

• Outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor
• Ability to stay busy, work independently, and take direction
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Comfortable speaking with guests and sharing general knowledge of the area
• Reliable transportation required
• Must pass a criminal background check
