Co-Op - Bachelors Software Engineer

Responsibilities Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply software engineering principles
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and develop software solutions
- Gain exposure to different programming languages, tools, and technologies
- Implements software projects for an integrated system or sub-system and provides input to and contributes to the planning, reporting and management of the project in addition to technical implementation.
- Demonstrates ability to handle single project with some supervision and must be able to handle low risk projects. This position is the co-owner of the software content of a project or program of projects and responsible for maintaining program consistency between projects, documentation, and support. Also responsible for the development, documentation, and maintenance of machine control interface standards across multiple platforms.
- Provides support and consulting for Concepting & Estimating, Software Engineering, Project Management, Installation, & Product Development.
- Analyzes program requirements and associated documentation and maintains all technical program communications with customers and drives product and project execution improvements and continuous improvement efforts.
- Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
- Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
- Language – C++, C#, Java. Database – SQL.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Basic understanding of software development principles
- PLC experience or controls systems experience
