Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher supporting K-12 students for a full semester contract in Westerville, OH. The role centers on providing specialized instruction to students with academic, social, or behavioral needs by developing and implementing individualized learning plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess students unique academic, behavioral, and social needs through formal and informal evaluations.
• Design and implement tailored interventions and individualized education programs (IEPs) to promote student progress.
• Monitor and document student performance regularly to adjust learning plans as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address challenges and ensure cohesive support.
• Facilitate ongoing munication among stakeholders regarding student progress and goals.
• Maintain pliance with regulatory requirements related to special education services.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 students who have diverse educational needs.
• Ability to design and modify curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers.
• Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and best practices.
• Effective classroom management skills and behavioral intervention experience.
