Project Engineer I
- Assist the Project Manager with planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects
- Monitor project schedules and budgets to support on-time and on-budget delivery
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective execution
- Support site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards
- Assist with preparing and reviewing project proposals, contracts, and change orders
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment needed for project completion
- Maintain communication with clients, providing progress updates and addressing concerns
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and meeting minutes
- Assist in resolving project-related issues and conflicts in the field
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and confirm adherence to design requirements
- Support management of subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, quality work
- Assist in identifying project risks and implementing mitigation strategies
- Promote and support adherence to all safety protocols on the jobsite
- Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insights on progress and challenges
- Assist with project closeout and evaluation to ensure quality and client satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 1-4 years of experience in construction project management or related role
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project or Procore
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with budgeting, cost estimation, and financial management
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards in construction
