Job Summary

BASIC SUMMARY:
Perform basic preventative maintenance and upkeep of processing equipment in assigned areas. Assist in maintaining inventory of cage wash, animal care and laboratory supplies for assigned area. Must be willing to work a minium 20 hours/per week and up to 30 hours per week. $17/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate pressure washer and industrial cage washers.
• Clean and maintain all cages, automatic water lines, and other related equipment.
• Assist with inventory of cage wash and laboratory supplies for assigned area.
• Perform and document in the appropriate log the function(s) performed.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and upkeep of processing equipment in assigned areas.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) preferred.
• Experience: Previous high pressure washer experience preferred.
• Certification/Licensure: None
