Landscape Account Manager
Abbruzzese Brothers Inc. is a commercial landscape services company specializing in maintenance, seasonal color, grounds enhancement, irrigation, and snow & ice management specializing in HOAs, new developments, and property managers. We deliver reliable, high-quality service focused on safety, sustainability, and long-term client relationships.
We’re seeking an organized, client-focused Commercial Landscape Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial accounts, serve as the primary client contact, coordinate operations with field crews and subcontractors, and drive client retention and growth. This role blends customer service, project coordination, and light sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary client contact for assigned commercial accounts; build strong relationships and ensure high client satisfaction.
- Manage account onboarding, service scheduling, contract compliance, and scope adjustments.
- Coordinate daily/weekly work plans with operations crews and field supervisors to ensure timely, quality delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections, document conditions, and provide solutions or change order recommendations.
- Prepare and present proposals, seasonal bids, and scope change estimates.
- Monitor job profitability, control costs, and escalate issues to management.
- Track service performance metrics, maintain accurate account records, and deliver periodic client reports.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries, emergency requests, and service complaints.
- Ensure safety and compliance with company policies, environmental regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years’ experience in commercial landscape account management, landscape operations, or related customer-facing role (property management, contracting).
- Strong understanding of landscape maintenance practices, fertilization, irrigation basics, plant material identification, and contract terms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with crew members, clients and vendors.
- Organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, scheduling, or landscape management software a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel between job sites.
- Professional, client-service mindset and ability to work collaboratively with field teams.
Preferred:
- Degree or certificate in horticulture, landscape management, business, or related field.
- Experience with budget management and estimating.
- Pesticide/herbicide certification or willingness to obtain.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
