Assistant Store Manager - Westerville

Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations and step into a leadership role in their absence
- Assist with recruiting, selecting, and retaining qualified team members to maintain optimal staffing levels
- Motivate and direct store teams to achieve productivity and profitability goals, communicating daily and weekly targets
- Promote outstanding customer service through coaching, training, and leading by example
- Maintain high standards for merchandise presentation and visual displays
- Uphold all operational policies and procedures, including loss prevention
- Oversee the buying and selling of gently used clothing and accessories according to company standards
- Supervise and support team members to foster a collaborative and positive work environment
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of management experience in retail, restaurant, or other fast-paced environments
- Sales-driven, goal-oriented, and demonstrates high integrity
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
- Ability to adapt priorities and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Willingness to work 40 hours per week, including 2 nights and rotating weekends
- Ability to meet physical demands, including frequent walking, standing, stooping, climbing ladders, pushing, and repetitive lifting (up to 40 lbs)
- Visual and coordination skills necessary for inspecting merchandise
