HHA, CNA, or STNA

Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated HHA, CNA, STNA to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidates will provide essential support to patients in various settings, including their homes, hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care while ensuring the comfort and dignity of those we serve.

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Provide support for patients with mobility challenges using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
• Administer medications as directed by nursing staff and document accordingly.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.
• Provide companionship.
• Transportation as needed for appointments or outings in the home care setting.

Skills: Candidates should possess a range of skills to effectively perform their duties, including but not limited to:

• Experience in home care, long-term care, assisted living, or nursing home settings.
• Ability to provide specialized care for patients with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
• Understanding of basic life support (BLS) principles and aseptic techniques.
• Experience in hospice care, acute care settings, or pediatrics is highly valued.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective patient service and caregiving.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN.

• Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance.

• BCI completed on-site.

• BLS/CPR or ability to obtain.
• HHA, CNA or STNA certification or equivalent training.
