Your role
1. Project Management: 40%
- Lead end-to-end commercialization projects throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies, and obtain alignment from all stakeholders and accurate based on the project and customer’s complexities.
- Drive stage-gate processes, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and milestone tracking.
- Identify and resolve project risks, bottlenecks, and technical challenges proactively.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, food safety, and quality standards.
2. Internal Engagement & Communication: 30%.
• Communicate project status, risks, and key updates to stakeholders and leadership.
• Connect and coordinate cross-functional teams including Sales, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Product Development, Operations, Procurement to ensure seamless execution.
• Partner with R&D to translate product concepts into scalable, manufacturable solutions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure raw material sourcing, packaging, production capacity/capabilities, and logistics readiness.
3. External Engagement with Suppliers: 10%
• Connect and coordinate external teams including Customers, Packaging Suppliers, Ingredient Suppliers, Graphic Design Agency, to ensure seamless execution
4. Customer Interactions and Production Trials: 10%
• Meet with customers, when necessary, especially for project kick-offs and ensure that customers’ expectations are in line with our in-house capabilities, technology and capacities.
• Oversee pilot trials, plant trials, and first production runs, ensuring product meet customer expectations.
5. Continuous Improvement Efficiencies and PM KPIs: 10%
• Postproduction review for long-term setup and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance commercialization processes and speed-to-market.
• Track project management KPIs as defined with line manager.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Food Science, Engineering, Business or related field (Master’s preferred**)
- 5+ years of experience in project management, commercialization, manufacturing, or product development within the beverage or CPG industry. (Supply Chain is a plus)
- Project Management Certification, Training or valid Qualifications.***
- Proven experience managing projects from concept through manufacturing and launch.
- Strong knowledge of beverage production processes, ingredients, and packaging formats.
- Experience working in cross-functional, matrixed organizations.
- Costing, Batch Sizing and Pricing experience a plus.
- Experience with ERP/PLM systems a plus
- Basic understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA, labeling, food safety standards) a plus
- Experience in beverage categories such as carbonated drinks, juices, functional beverages, or alcohol
