CNC Machinist

Title: CNC Machinist

Shift: Monday - Friday

• 1st Shift (6am – 2pm)
• 2nd Shift (2pm – 10pm)
• 3rd Shift (10pm – 6am)

Salary: $20/hr - $27/hr, dependent on experience

CNC Machinist Role:

This role exists to operate precision CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. Our client relies on this position to ensure equipment runs efficiently, parts meet tight tolerances, and the production environment remains clean and organized

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain CNC Lathe and Swiss equipment
• Inspect parts to ensure compliance with tight tolerances
• Replace tools as necessary to maintain dimensional accuracy
• Adjust dimensional offsets on the machine computer
• Move raw materials and assist with equipment setup
• Clean work area and perform routine floor maintenance
• Execute various preventative maintenance tasks

CNC Machinist Reporting Relationships:

The CNC Machinist reports to the Production Supervisor and has no direct reports.

About You:

• Possess 2+ years of experience operating CNC Lathe or Swiss machines
• Demonstrate proficiency in reading non-digital micrometers
• Read and interpret technical blueprints accurately
• Apply mathematical skills including geometry and trigonometry
• Maintain high attention to detail throughout the production process
• Lift up to 50 lbs and remain mobile throughout the shift
• Work effectively as a cooperative team player
• Maintain clear and professional communication with the team
