Martin-Palmer Tool is a full-service, detail-oriented, and customer-focused manufacturing and repair
shop located in Dayton, Ohio. With over 70 years of experience behind us, we combine proven
craftsmanship with modern capabilities to support a wide range of industrial and manufacturing
needs. Our facility is equipped with a diverse lineup of equipment, including CNC lathes, CNC milling
machines, surface and O.D. grinders, drill presses, saws, and full toolroom support equipment. We
also operate press brakes for forming applications, along with MIG, TIG, and Arc welding equipment
to support a wide range of fabrication and repair needs. This versatility allows us to handle
everything from precision-machined components to complex fabricated assemblies with accuracy
and efficiency.

Job Description
Are you passionate about machining and ready to take your skills from the classroom to
the shop floor?
We are seeking motivated, hands-on individuals to join our team with strong attention
to safety and detail. Willingness to learn and grow. This role offers a unique opportunity
to gain real-world experience across multiple areas, including CNC lathes and mills,
assembly, press brake operations and more. Employees will learn to operate equipment,
follow routers and work instructions, interrupt blueprints, perform quality checks, and
support various production functions while building a strong foundation in
manufacturing. The ideal candidate has a mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn,
and a team-oriented mindset, with an interest in developing versatile skills and growing
into advanced roles within a machine shop manufacturing environment.

Skills
Preferred skills include. Experience with CNC lathe and mill operations (such as tooling
changes and basic adjustments), grinders, drill press and mechanical troubleshooting.
Previous experience using micrometers and calipers is needed. A commitment to
contributing to our teams success and company growth

Days / Hours
1st Shift: Monday- Friday 7:30 AM- 4:00 PM
