Pay Range: $16 – $18 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides personalized support to individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities in their homes and communities. DSPs assist with daily living activities, skill development, and achieving personal goals in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support individuals in achieving personal and developmental goals.

Assist with daily living needs including meal preparation, personal care, medication, and transportation.

Encourage community involvement through social, recreational, and educational activities.

Follow individualized support plans (ISPs) and document care and progress accurately.

Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

Communicate effectively with team members, families, and other care partners.

Always promote respect, dignity, and person-centered care.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (required).

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and valid car insurance (required).

Current CPR & First Aid certification, DSP training, and medical certifications are a plus — but we will train the right candidate.

Must be able to pass all required background checks and meet state regulatory standards.
