Industrial Paint Technician
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Paint Technician to join our team in Carey, OH. As an Industrial Paint Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through expert application of paint and coatings. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
- Operate paint sprayers and other equipment to apply coatings efficiently and effectively.
- Mix and match paint colors according to specifications and project requirements.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in painting techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Industrial Paint Technician or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in using paint sprayers and other painting tools.
- Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and their applications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in painting or coatings are a plus.
