Process Safety & Compliance Coordinator
We’re recruiting on behalf of a client seeking a Process Safety & Compliance Coordinator to join their team in Cincinnati, Ohio . This is a full-time, onsite position within a PSM-covered facility, ideal for a candidate experienced in ammonia refrigeration , OSHA 1910.119 , and cross-functional safety leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and maintain all elements of the facility’s PSM and EPA RMP programs
Lead or assist with PHA, MOC, PSSR , incident investigations, and safety audits
Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to manage and mitigate process safety risks
Ensure all documentation and records (SOPs, P&IDs, training logs) are complete and up to date
Deliver or coordinate safety training on PSM-related topics and regulatory standards
Provide technical support for systems involving anhydrous ammonia (NH3) or similar regulated substances
Track safety metrics and contribute to the site’s continuous improvement culture
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a PSM-covered facility (required)
Working knowledge of OSHA 1910.119 , EPA RMP , and ammonia system safety
Familiarity with MOC, PHA, PSSR , and mechanical integrity practices
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and cross-functional coordination
Certifications such as OSHA 30 , RETA CIRO/CARO , or related credentials are a plus
Compensation & Details:
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 , based on experience
