- Assists with the preparation and submission of governmental agency reports including taxes
- Performs monthly account reconciliations
- Communicates clearly and effectively with independent auditors and coworkers
- Develops and implements efficient workflow processes
- Performs month end close processes and journal entries
- Makes sound decisions based upon independent analysis and experience
- Assists in annual audits
- Prepares bank reconciliations
- Utilizes spreadsheet and manufacturing software applications to create useful financial reports
- Perform weekly Accounts Payable check run and prepare wire transfers
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 1-2 years accounting experience
- Experience in coordinating and maintaining sound accounting practices and procedures
- Experience with spreadsheets; MS Office products a plus
- Experience with accounting control procedures
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
