SHIFT LEADER Looking for highly motivated individuals who can help our team grow. Needing friendly and outgoing people to interact with our guest and crew members. Required to be available 2 shifts Friday through SundayStill flexible scheduling if needed. Opportunity to move up within our organization if interested. Store is closed Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Jr Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Reports To: Managers, GM, District Manager and Owners Supervises: Team Members General Purpose of Position: As part of the management team, a Shift Leader works directly with the Managers and Owner to ensure the day-to-day management and operations expectations of the retail store are being met. A Shift Leader must have the ability to make informed decisions, solve problems in a critical and diligent manner, and effectively manage the store when upper management or Owner is not present. Responsibilities/Duties · Responsible for ensuring the highest level of efficiency and organization amongst all store processes and procedures. · Assists with orientation, training, coaching, and developing team members to understand and execute operational expectations. · Responsible for the execution and organization of all paperwork relating to store operations and procedures. · Oversees compliance of team members with established company policies and standards. · Maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards. · Upholds specific department goals, cleanliness, organization, aesthetic appeal, and inventory management. · Provides support to team members during peak periods or when scheduling conflicts arise. · Processes sales transactions, returns, and special orders, and ensures that all related documentation is accurate and complete. · Ensures safekeeping of all property. · Works to prevent damage and theft of merchandise. · Assists in management of sales floor and staff. · Keeps the management team and owner well informed of activities and significant issues. Skills · Ability to develop and train workforce, build relationships, utilize skills of workforce most appropriately. · Ability to provide outstanding customer service. · Ability to manage store operations effectively and efficiently. · Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, understandable manner, and listen attentively to others, understand material, and provide instructions to team members. · Ability to operate all equipment necessary to perform the job.
