Process Engineer, 2nd Shift
- Ability to work second shift, Monday-Friday
- Own and improve engine assembly processes to support Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity goals.
- Respond quickly to Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) by assessing current conditions against engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, and determining corrective actions needed to restore production flow.
- Lead and support Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts in partnership with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, Fulfillment, and other operational teams.
- Participate in Daily Management and shop floor operating cadences, using KPIs to drive decisions and continuous improvement.
- Identify, develop, and implement process improvements that enhance safety, quality, and throughput.
- Build and apply technical knowledge, primarily in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, to solve production challenges and strengthen process capability.
- Collaborate across functions to support adjacent improvement initiatives and share best practices.
- Serve as a trusted, action-oriented presence on the shop floor, helping teams remove barriers and keep engine builds moving.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
OR - High school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in engineering related to manufacturing processes
- Minimum of 3 years of operational and/or engineering experience associated with manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge the status quo
- Technical aptitude to interpret engineering and quality requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional growth
- Knowledge of Lean principles and methodologies
- Collaborative, humble, and transparent working style with strong communication skills
- Ability to make sound decisions in a complex, high-tempo manufacturing environment
