As part of the Early Learning team, your work with infants to preschoolers will provide life-changing solutions to the children and families we serve.
We have opportunities in all 4 counties we serve; Marion, Morrow, Crawford, & Richland .
Our Head Start Locations
The OHCAC Head Start Classrooms provide high-quality care for children during the critical first 2,000 days of life by operating 8 learning centers, serving children birth through five years old, in Marion, Morrow, Crawford, & Richland counties. Because of our high standards, all sites achieved a 5-Star rating on the Step-Up-To-Quality system.

Job RequirementsThe minimum requirement is an Associate Degree in social work, human services, family services counseling, or a related degree, (Psychology), in the field of Family Services. OHCAC Head Start offers
- Base Pay: $20.51 - $23.78 hour

Job Summary
- Recruit, complete and maintain enrollment with eligible families, develop a rapport and provide service through ongoing interactions
- Work with families to assess their strengths and support them in setting and meeting individual and family goals.
- Guide families toward healthy self-reliance.
- Encourage and support families to ensure completion of their child’s health screenings.
- Nurture positive relationships with families as they prepare their children for successful transitions to kindergarten and beyond.
- Use the many tools available through the Head Start/Early Head Start programs to identify obstacles and surmount them.
- Partner with local community resources and agencies.
