What would you do as a Plant Manager at Sealed Air?
As Plant Manager at our Ashland facility, you will lead all site operations, including Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, and Operational Excellence. You will be responsible for achieving high standards of safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency, while maintaining a strong, collaborative culture within a team that truly enjoys working together.
You will manage the site’s financial performance, ensuring targets for EBITDA and cost control are met. Partnering closely with cross-functional and commercial teams, you will drive process improvement, strengthen quality systems, and enhance customer satisfaction. You will also lead the implementation of formal structures and metrics that enable accountability and sustainable results, ensuring operational alignment with SEE’s global standards.

What will you need to succeed in this role?
- Strong business acumen with deep understanding of P&L management, cost control, and financial drivers.
- Proven experience leading manufacturing operations with focus on quality, continuous improvement, and efficiency.
- Demonstrated success in turning around or transforming plant performance and building robust quality systems.
- Solid technical knowledge of manufacturing processes (engineering background preferred but not required).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and lead a cohesive team.
- Strategic mindset, hands-on leadership style, and the ability to execute under pressure.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle preferred; exposure to SAP is an advantage).
