As we continue to expand our offerings, we are launching a Grant Services Division to help clients identify and pursue funding opportunities that can strengthen and grow their organizations.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Grant Writer to help launch and grow a grant services division that supports childcare centers and other small business clients throughout the United States.
This is an opportunity to help build a new service from the ground up. We are looking for someone who can independently research grant opportunities, maintain organized records, assist with grant applications, and help create scalable systems that can grow with the company.
You will work closely with leadership and play a key role in helping our clients identify and pursue funding opportunities.
Responsibilities
Research grant opportunities across the United States.
Identify grants that align with client eligibility and business goals.
Maintain an organized database of grant opportunities, deadlines, requirements, and award amounts.
Prepare summaries of grant opportunities for internal teams and clients.
Assist with preparing, writing, and submitting grant applications.
Track application progress, deadlines, and outcomes.
Coordinate with project managers and executive assistants throughout the application process.
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
Help develop repeatable grant research and grant writing processes.
Requirements
Proven experience researching and writing grants in the United States.
Strong English communication and writing skills.
Excellent research and analytical abilities.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Experience tracking projects, deadlines, and documentation.
Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
Reliable internet connection and work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience securing successful grant awards.
Experience working with nonprofits, education, childcare, healthcare, or community-based organizations.
Familiarity with grant databases and funding resources.
Experience creating grant tracking systems and reporting tools.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 30 days, you will:
Identify viable grant opportunities.
Build and maintain an organized grant tracking system.
Begin assisting with active grant application opportunities.
Demonstrate strong communication and reporting.
Show the ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
