NIKA is hiring for a Maintenance Specialist to support the Base Operations (BOS) Contract at Wright – Patterson AFB, Ohio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs preventive maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and
refrigeration (HVAC/R) systems and equipment
Team member participating in installation, troubleshooting, modification, overhauls, repairs, and maintenance of a variety of HVAC/R systems.
Performs basic work independently but performs more complex work with technical oversight.
Performs basic electrical work incidental to the maintenance and operation of HVAC/R systems and
other systems covered under the contract.
Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience is required. Must demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities gained
through training and/or experience to perform the duties described above.
