Press Brake Operator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift

Machine Setup: Select and install appropriate punches and dies based on material type (aluminum, steel, stainless steel) and thickness.

Programming: Load or input CNC programs, calculate bend allowances, and set machine parameters.

Operation & Production: Safely operate the press brake to bend metal components to exact blueprint tolerances and engineering-specified angles.

Quality Control: Measure formed parts using calipers, protractors, and gauges to verify quality standards are met.

Maintenance: Perform routine tool maintenance and keep the machine area clean and organized.

Press Brake Operator Qualifications:

• HSD/GED
• Requires 1 to 5+ years of hands-on CNC press brake experience, depending on the complexity of the machines (Amada or Trumpf experience is often highly preferred).
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding schematics.
• Basic math skills for taking measurements and calculating angles, combined with fundamental computer skills for CNC interfaces.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods, frequently lift up to 40 lbs without restriction, and perform manual tasks like climbing, stooping, and balancing

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
