CT Technologist Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2220 - $2280
• Employment Type: Travel/Locum Tenens CT Technologist
• Location: Columbus, Ohio (43210) – Ohio healthcare jobs
• Facility: Hospital – Level I Trauma Center, ER, Inpatient, Operating Room, Adult ICU
• Contract Duration: 26 weeks
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: May 4, 2026
• Shift: 3x12-hour days (07:00 – 19:30), every 3rd weekend rotation (Friday/Saturday, 15:30 – 02:00)
• On-Call: One 24-hour call shift (Saturday or Sunday) every 6 weeks (05:00 – 05:00), must be available within one hour
• Hours per Week: 36

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT technologist experience in a hospital or trauma center
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• ARRT (R)(CT) advanced certification preferred
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment and Epic charting system required
• Prior experience in Trauma Level I and community hospital settings required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call as needed
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure clinical environment
• Two professional references required (one from a manager/director or formal leadership)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion
• Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain accurate patient records and comply with healthcare regulatory standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergent imaging needs
• Float to other hospital units or locations of equal acuity as required
• Prepare and administer contrast media for CT scans
• Start peripheral IVs and manage PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System)
