Purpose of Position

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and identifying improvements by planning, implementing, and monitoring software framework solutions.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Identify and develop product specification, system design, development, and system integration for new and existing software applications
• Provide application support for an SAP ECC R3 environment consisting of AP, AR, FI, CoPa, MM, PO
• Collaborate with cross-functional areas on products and programs that will contribute to FSI's strategic direction, development, and future growth
• Monitor, configure, and improve integration with SAP
• Enter and track time, tasks using Azure Development Ops
• Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies
• Consult with users on problem determination and provide root cause analysis in a timely manner
• Ability to mentor other team members, providing feedback and guidance when needed
• Accountable and responsible for the accuracy and completeness of assigned work and results
• Prioritize and manage workload and communicate issues clearly
• Complete other tasks as required
• Travel when required

Minimum Education

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience

Minimum Experience

• 7+ years of experience in SAP software development and support

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Advanced experience in SAP ECC R3 configuration and ABAP programming
• Solid experience with SAP S4 Hana, BTP, BDC, GRC, SAP Cloud Connector
• Experience with SAP Payroll, Successfactors, Fieldglass, Concur is a plus
• Upgrade from ECC R3 to S/4 Hana experience strongly preferred
• Experience in implementing best practices within the SAP business process framework
• Advanced knowledge and experience in the entire software development life cycle including requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation for various development platforms.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• Understanding of the Agile work methodology
