Position Overview

Trinity Healthcare Talent Services is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a unique assignment in Brookings, OR .

This role is primarily outpatient , with additional inpatient/ARU support and occasional weekend coverage , offering a well-rounded clinical experience across care settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans

• Provide outpatient physical therapy for a variety of orthopedic and neuro conditions

• Support inpatient and acute rehab (ARU) as needed

• Assist with weekend inpatient coverage when required

• Deliver treatments including:

  • Therapeutic exercise and functional activities

  • Gait training and mobility work

  • Pain management modalities (e-stim, TENS, ultrasound, etc.)

• Educate patients and families on recovery and home exercise programs

• Supervise PTAs and support staff as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation (Epic preferred)

Requirements

• Active Oregon PT License REQUIRED

• Active California PT License ALSO REQUIRED

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience REQUIRED

• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Experience in outpatient and inpatient settings preferred

• Strong adaptability across care settings

Assignment Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Mix of outpatient clinic + inpatient/ARU coverage

• Float required to inpatient hospital (Crescent City) if needed

• Small community clinic environment

• Patient population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Important Notes

• Dual licensure required (OR + CA)

• Must live 50+ miles from facility (locals accepted at lower rate)

• Labs required within 3–5 days of signing

• Only 1 holiday RTO allowed

• 7-year work history verification required

• Background disclosure required at submission
