- Role specifics and day-to-day impact: Provide comprehensive cardiac care on telemetry and step-down units; monitor rhythm strips, hemodynamics, and vital signs; administer antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, and post-procedural medications; assist in cath lab and post-procedural care; participate in rapid response and code management; collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and rehab teams to ensure seamless patient transitions; educate patients and families on disease management, discharge planning, and medication adherence. This role offers broad exposure to a spectrum of cardiac conditions, with increasing autonomy as you demonstrate clinical judgment and leadership in patient care.
