What You'll Do

As a Technical Service Engineer supporting the TempRite business , you will play a key role in delivering technical support and service to current and potential customers. Reporting to the Global Technical Services Manager, you will collaborate with internal teams and customers to introduce new products, resolve technical issues, and support business growth initiatives. You will also work closely with the R&D applications group to assess product performance and processing compatibility.

• Provide technical support and training to production facilities and internal/external customers in quality control and production processes.
• Support development and introduction of new products, applications, and approvals.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and application development teams to support business initiatives.
• Act as a technical resource across the business segment.
• Deliver pragmatic solutions for customer issues or complaints through evaluation and guidance.
• Work directly with manufacturing to achieve targeted results and resolve issues.
• Provide technical data, reports, and communications regarding customer status or issues.
• Ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization and between key stakeholders.
• Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and adherence to safety processes.

Skills That Make A Difference

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, polymer, engineering fields, or 10 years of applicable experience.
• Ability to communicate complex topics clearly to various stakeholders.
• Project management skills with a focus on deliverables and results.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
• Experience in CPVC or vinyls processing (injection molding, pipe, profile, sheet, or foam extrusion preferred).
• Fluency in English.
• Fluency in Spanish or Portuguese preferred.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards and approval agencies preferred.
• Experience with CAD software or polymer flow modeling applications preferred.
