We are a full-service mechanical contractor providing HVAC, plumbing, and specialty services across the Cleveland market. This is an opportunity to step into a stable, year-round position with strong earning potential and growth opportunities.

Position Overview

The Backflow Technician is responsible for the testing, inspection, repair, and installation of backflow prevention assemblies across residential, commercial, and industrial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform annual backflow testing and certification
• Inspect and diagnose backflow prevention devices (1⁄2”–8”)
• Repair leaking or failed assemblies (Watts, Wilkins, Febco, etc.)
• Install and replace backflow preventers
• Complete all required testing documentation and compliance reports
• Troubleshoot water pressure and flow issues
• Communicate findings and solutions clearly to customers
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in clean working order
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Backflow Certification (Ohio)
• Experience in plumbing service or mechanical systems
• Knowledge of backflow assemblies and testing procedures
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Professional attitude and customer-first mindset
