Maintenance Storekeeper

As a Maintenance Storekeeper, you will price a wide range of materials and supplies for Facilities Engineering and Foundation needs. Other duties include but are not limited to: - Coordinates with Purchasing in obtaining supplies and materials. - Performs receiving functions; checks incoming orders against requisitions or invoices. - Performs warehousing functions; keeps storeroom neat. - Stores and issue supplies, equipment and high value tools to employees. - Examines and assesses equipment to determine its suitability for reissue. - Maintains a current perpetual inventory of stock on hand. Responsibilities :

• Prices and requisitions a wide range of materials and supplies for Facilities Engineering.
• Coordinates with Purchasing in obtaining supplies and materials Performs receiving functions.
• Checks incoming orders against requisitions or invoices.
• Performs warehousing functions.
• Keeps storeroom neat.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Certifications:

• None required.

Complexity of Work:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Work Experience :

• A minimum of three years prior maintenance, stockroom, warehousing and ordering experience in a computerized storeroom setting.

Physical Requirements:

• Typical physical demands require full body motion including the ability to perform work while bending, stooping, stretching, and climbing ladders.
• The ability to tolerate prolonged sitting and standing.
• The manual dexterity sufficient to operate a CRT/PC.
• Typically required lifting and carrying parts and/or equipment weighing 25 to 100 lbs. And/or assist with lifting weights exceeding 100 lbs.
• Requires color acuity sufficient to distinguish colors.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
